This photo was taken at the ribbon cutting of the opening of the Eastern Star Home in 1925. The ESH was a rest home for the Ladies of the Order of the Eastern Star, one of the only Masonic organizations that allowed women. Its is estimated that over 1000 people came to this event.
It would be a dream to gather as many people who support my efforts here as possible to recreate this picture on the Ribbon Cutting on April 1st at 4pm.
I have a photographer lined up so bring your whole family and let’s make history again! The ceremony will last no more than 15 minutes but the memories will last a lifetime.
